You have a choice

There will always be pain in life. No matter what you
do, there will be some kind of discomfort involved.

There is no escaping it. Yet not all pain produces the
same.

The pain of discipline produces results. The pain of
quitting creates regret.

You have a choice: the temporary pain of discipline or
the permanent pain of regret.

Take time to reflect

You have options. At least, more options than you think.
Take a deep breath.

Pause for a second.

Before you rush into saying or doing something you might
 regret, take time to reflect.

The longer you reflect, the wiser your actions will be.

Regret?

The thing about failing is that you don’t have to
wonder how the story might have ended.

You did what you did and you got what you got.

Quitting, on the other hand, is a whole different story.
It triggers the question that never goes away...what if?

Disappointment eventually fades away, but regret hangs on
forever.   #TheCubanGuy

Speak Wisely

While what’s happening right now might not be completely to your liking, understand that it might just be a temporary dilemma which you, if not cautious, can end up making  permanent.

Given the current circumstances, perhaps your expectations are a bit unreasonable.  It might be unwise for you to judge, anything or anyone, while under the influence of your emotions.

Only time can sober your feelings and wise up your speech.  Any words spoken or acts performed while intoxicated with emotions can create a lifetime of regret.

“Only the unwise will speak while upset; for the upset only speaks unwisely.”   ~Andres Lara
