Open up.

The wall around you keeps out the bad.

It also keeps out everything that's good.

Yes, you make yourself vulnerable when you let people in.

With that risk however, endless possibilities open up as well.

Apply it.

Do you think this time will be different?

Why risk it?

Don’t repeat the same mistake twice. Apply what you've learned.

Put the wisdom you acquired the first time into practice.

Avoiding Risk?

What would you do if you weren’t afraid to fail? If you
 knew success was guaranteed?

Would you keep doing what you’ve been doing?

Or would you do something completely different?
 Be honest with yourself.

Avoiding risk is riskier than you think.

Not trying is a mistake

Never be ashamed of your mistakes. Making a mistake
means that you are still trying.

It means that you were brave enough to take a risk.

There’s risk in everything you do, but the biggest risk
of all is never taking any.

Making a mistake is not a mistake. Not trying is a mistake.

The Perfect Moment

The perfect moment.  Everyone is waiting for it.  Some even wait their entire lives for this one moment which will be much better than any other.
Stop waiting. It’s unnecessary. There’s not such a thing as the perfect moment. Yes some moments could be more advantageous than others, but the advantage gained many times is dwarfed by all the time wasted.
Indiscriminately swing with all you got every single time an opportunity presents itself; then when a great one arrives, you will have perfected your swing and may even hit a homerun.
“You don’t wait, you train for the perfect moment by taking a swing every single time an opportunity is thrown your way.”  ~TheCubanGuy

Rise Up

You might be able to soar to a great altitude, but your elevation will depend not on how high you can climb but on how low you have previously fallen.

While falling down might not be a prerequisite for rising to the top, it's definitely a necessity if you want to remain there.

Do not fear falling down; for without falling, you will never learn the true basics of rising up.
If you have never fallen, then you have never really risen.

Affirm this:  I will take some big risks today for I know that falling down is nothing to be afraid of.
